As a new member of Yale e-NABLE, a great way to get involved with hands-on experience is by making a test device. By creating a test device, not only are you better prepared to take on a real project, but you also gain “badges” that earn you status in the e-NABLE community. When starting a project, we want our patients to trust our ability to do our very best.

To build your very own test hand, follow the directions of this master guide. This document will guide your through each and every step of the fabrication and assembly process. Feel free to reach out to current Yale e-NABLE members for help along the way, as both the fabrication and assembly process takes a few hours each. Stayed tuned for future build-a-thons, where we help new members build their very first test hands!
